These general conditions for promotions/special offers and competitions (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions Competitions’) apply to the Refer & Earn incentive organised by Network Recruitment. In addition, each competition and/or other promotion also has specific terms and conditions mentioned in the specific competition rules. 



• Refer & Earn Incentive Definition: The Refer & Earn Incentive rewards people who refer qualified professionals to us in the areas of CA (SA), DevOps, Software Engineers, and Engineers (all disciplines) subject to the referred candidate being placed by Network Recruitment and remaining in the employ of the new employer for at least 3 months. 
• By participating in the competition the referee confirms that he/she has permission to refer the candidate. 
• All participants should be 18 years and older. 
• Excluded from participation are staff and relatives of Network Recruitment and cohabiting partners or family of the Network Recruitment employees well as any participants/ (including advertising agencies, advertisers, sponsors, or producers). 
• The participant is obliged to provide accurate, current, and complete information when participating in the Refer & Earn incentive. Network Recruitment may verify the winner, before presenting the award or prize money, to provide proof of their identity and residence information previously provided by the participant. 
• The decision of Network Recruitment is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding results and the awarding of any prize money. 
• The Refer & Earn cash prize money is payable only to the winner and is not transferable. The prize is not exchangeable, or payable in other products or services.  
• The winning participant/s will be expected to send Network Recruitment a verified confirmation letter of banking details; registered in the participant's name. 
• Network Recruitment shall not be held liable if the prize is not received by the winner due to inaccurate banking details. 
• The payment of the cash prize is arranged by Network Recruitment and will be paid out 3 months after the referred candidate starts their new job with the new employer. 
• If the referred candidate leaves the job within 3 months the prize money will not be rewarded. 
• The Refer & Earn Incentive is valid for up to a 12-month claim period. The winner can claim the prize up to 12 months after the candidate starts at the new employer. After this period, entitlement to the prize automatically expires. 
• The referred candidate remains the referee's referral for a period of 12 months upon the initial referral date. Should the candidate not be placed within this period, then the candidate is deemed available to be placed by someone else. 
• In the instance where the referred candidate is already on Communicate Recruitment’s database and/or in the process of working with one of Communicate Recruitment’s consultants at the time of the referral, then the entry will be deemed invalid. 
• Network Recruitment will inform the referee that their referred or nominated candidate is already working with one of Communicate Recruitment’s consultants. 
• The participant consents to processing personal data in connection with participation in the competition. Network Recruitment may add personal information to its database, which is confidential and will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act. 
• Network Recruitment is in no way responsible for lapsed entries due to technical difficulties, arising from the use of the website and/or downloading any components whatsoever in relation to the competition or special promotion. 
• Network Recruitment has the right to disqualify participants if it believes that the participants are not acting in conformity with the General and/or specific Terms and Conditions of Competitions or if the participant is otherwise fraudulently accessing the competition or unfairly influencing the course of the competition. 
• Network Recruitment is entitled to, at its discretion and without notice, change or modify these terms and conditions specific to the competition or special promotional offers for the duration of the contest and without giving a reason to discontinue, modify, or adapt the competition or special promotional offer for reasons of its own without any obligation to compensate any damages on behalf of the participant. Any changes or adaptations within the competition will be made public in an appropriate manner (e.g., via its website). 
• When the General and/or specific Terms and Conditions Competitions differ from those determined in the Specific Terms and Conditions Competition, the specific Terms and Conditions Competition prevail.
